Arcade Fire, “Afterlife”: With the release of their highly anticipated new album, Reflektor, a week away, Arcade Fire has unveiled “Afterlife,” a six-minute meditation on the titular topic. Watch the official lyric video, which employs scenes from Marcel Camus’s 1959 film Black Orpheus, below:
M.I.A., “Y.A.L.A.”: After previewing a snippet of the song last week, M.I.A. has released the full version of “Y.A.L.A.,” a track from her upcoming album, Matangi, out November 5th. The track, a remake of Drake’s “YOLO,” finds the rapper-singer comically rhyming “Bankin’ offshore” with “Julianne Moore.”
Cut Copy, “We Are Explorers”: Following the release of the title track and “Let Me Show You Love,” Cut Copy has shared a new cut from their forthcoming fourth album, Free Your Mind, out on November 5th.
