MS MR, Think of You

New York duo MS MR has unveiled the music video for their new single, “Think of You,” a standout track from their debut album, Secondhand Rapture. After making introductions via their exhilarating clip for “Hurricane,” which topped our list of the Best Music Videos of 2012, the band dropped a second video for the song that, though visually striking, didn’t jibe with mysterious, lo-fi aesthetic they’d established for themselves. “Think of You,” then, is a bit of a course correction; directed by BRTHR (Alex Lee and Kyle Wightman), the video, which sees a little boy literally being sucked into MS MR’s live performance on a public access TV program, further cultivates the band’s retro stylings and features brief flashes of the hypnotic found footage that made “Hurricane” so captivating.
