Last week, Paramore kicked off their first tour in four years, making a pit spot in Texas to headline the Austin City Limits Music Festival on Saturday night. The Nashville-based band is set to drop their first album since 2017 early next year, following a hiatus during which singer Hayley Williams released two critically acclaimed solo albums, including 2020’s Petals for Armor.
The band, which attracted one of the biggest ACL crowds of the weekend, put on an electrifying set, opening with their new single “This Is Why,” and rocking out to fan favorites like “Misery Business” and “Hard Times,” featuring a snippet of Blondie’s classic “Heart of Glass.”
