Jessie Ware has released “Ride,” the latest single from her forthcoming album Superbloom, due out April 10 on Interscope Records. The British singer first previewed the long-awaited new track, which follow’s last month’s “I Could Get Used to This,” at Glastonbury’s NYC Downlow club back in 2024.

Produced by Karma Kid and Stuart Price, “Ride” features an interpolation of iconic film composer Ennio Morricone’s theme song from Sergio Leone’s epic 1967 spaghetti western The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, starring Clint Eastwood. There are shades of Studio 54-era sin and skin in the track’s squirmy synth riff, ballroom strings, and, of course, Ware’s sultry vocal.

Ware says “Ride” was made “for the clubs,” calling it “fun, cinematic, cheeky, and powerful.” Indeed, “I need a stallion who can go all night/Someone to come and blow…my mind,” she quips at one point.
