Rick Ross & Jay-Z, “The Devil Is a Lie”: Hip-hop titans Rick Ross and Jay-Z have joined forces for a new track from—presumably, considering the lyrics—the former’s forthcoming album, Mastermind. Rumored to drop before the end of 2013, the album is now expected sometime next year.
Sisyphus, “Calm It Down”: Check out the lyric video for the opening track from Sisyphus, a collaboration album from singer-songwriter Sufjan Stevens, producer Son Lux, and rapper Serengeti:
Actress, “Grey Over Blue”: Taking a cue from last week’s surprise Beyoncé album, U.K. producer Actress (a.k.a. Darren J. Cunningham) has dropped a new 12” single, both tracks of which, “Grey Over Blue” (below) and “Wee Bey,” appear to reference the R&B diva or her daughter, Blue Ivy. Actress’s new album, Ghettoville, is out on January 28th.
Lancelot featuring Antony & Cleopatra, “Givin’ It Up”: Sydney beatmaker Lancelot’s latest pop-house thumper features Antony Hegarty and Aussie duo Cleopatra. The track will be featured on Lancelot’s new EP, out January 20th.
