British pop singer Dua Lipa is continuing to prove that her sophomore effort, Future Nostalgia, has legs. And…eggs. The new video for “Love Again,” a standout cut from the album that pairs lush orchestral swells with a sample of the canned strings from White Town’s 1997 single “Your Woman,” finds Lipa cracking eggshells and riding a mechanical bull while a troupe of dancing cowboys in clown makeup (clownboys?) derived from her colorful yolks attempt to lasso a giant floating egg.
Lipa’s disco-cowgirl getup and choreography evoke Madonna’s similarly themed “Don’t Tell Me” as well as Halsey’s more recent “You Should Be Sad,” but the special-effects-laden clip is very much its own surreal creation, with visual references clearly intended to convey the song’s central takeaway: Keep falling for the wrong person and the yolk’s on you.

Today Lipa also dropped a midtempo ballad, “Can They Hear Us,” from the soundtrack to Nabil Elderkin’s upcoming feature film debut, Gully. Elderkin previously directed the music video for Lipa’s “Don’t Start Now.” Listen to the new song here:
