Kaouther Ben Hania’s The Voice of Hind Rajab tells the wrenching story of five-year-old Hind Rajab, who was killed by Israeli forces on January 29, 2024 in Tel al-Hawa, Gaza, along with six family members and two paramedics who attempted to rescue her from a car she was trapped in. The film, which is nominated for best international feature at this year’s Academy Awards, incorporates real-life audio recordings between Hind and the Red Crescent volunteers at a call center in the West Bank city of Ramallah who desperately tried to save her, offering an unflinching and deeply human account of the girl’s final hours.
Timed to its digital release, Watermelon Pictures has released a new trailer for the film.

The Voice of Hind Rijab is available on digital on February 24.
