Intel & Toshiba Team Up for New Social Film The Power Inside Starring Harvey Keitel

The future is apparently here. Following their successful The Beauty Inside, Inside Films premiered a new “social film” yesterday called The Power Inside, an interactive online series presented by Intel and Toshiba where the audience helps save or destroy the world. Consider it a virtual Choose Your Own Adventure. Helmed by Will Speck and Josh Gordon (who co-directed 2010’s The Switch) and starring Analeigh Tipton, Craig Roberts, and Harvey Keitel as a suspiciously sage barber, The Power Inside is a fun, episodic alien-zombie saga in which extra-terrestrial critters invade Earth by posing as…mustaches.

If this is the future of film, with product placement by tech companies and online viewers as the stars and story writers, at least it has a, uh, cheeky sense of humor. Watch Episode I below and visit the official site to audition to be in the film—either as a bad guy (a “Urick”) or a good guy (a “Guardian”):

Episode II of The Power Inside premieres on August 22nd.
