Netflix has dropped the official trailer for the second installment of the acclaimed anthology series Beef, which hits the streamer on April 16. The new season trades the parking lot for the country club as it follows a young couple (Charles Melton and Cailee Spaeny) who witness a violent altercation between their boss (Oscar Isaac) and his wife (Carey Mulligan), setting off a twisted battle of blackmail and backstabbing.
This season’s satire pits Gen Z versus millennials, exploring the generational rift fomented by a predatory capitalist society. Created by Lee Sung Jin, the series also stars Youn Yuh-jung as the country club’s scheming billionaire backer, Song Kang-ho as her husband, and Seoyeon Jang as a seemingly innocent interpreter.
