Charli XCX gets cloned in frequent collaborator A.G. Cook’s music video for his new single, “Residue.” The instrumental techno track is lifted from the soundtrack to Charli’s tour mockumentary The Moment, which hits theaters on February 6.
In the video, directed by Aidan Zamiri, Charli is seen strutting into a warehouse, where she passes by a doppelganger of herself and Cook lying comatose on a pile of Brat t-shirts. She makes her way to the basement, where she encounters more clones, more merch, and eventually a room full of lookalikes, including Kylie Jenner, headbanging in front of a screen emblazoned with lyrics from the album.
