Halloween is coming a little early this season, as Relativity Media drops the psychological thriller The Disappointments Room into theaters this Friday. Directed by D.J. Caruso (Eagle Eye, Disturbia) and written by Wentworth Miller and Caruso, the film follows Dana (Kate Beckinsale), David (Mel Raido), and their young son as they move from New York City to a once-grand Southern mansion looking for a “new beginning.” All is well until Dana discovers a secret room that harbors the house’s dark history, which includes hidden gravestones, crumbling, headless statues, and a very creepy-looking dog.
