Ahead of his appearance as the musical guest on this weekend’s Saturday Night Live (his sixth time on the show), Jack White has dropped two new tracks, “G.O.D. and the Broken Ribs” and “Derecho Demonico.” The songs, his first new music since 2024’s No Name, will be available on limited edition 7” vinyl starting tomorrow.
Produced by White with support from his longtime band—Patrick Keeler on drums, Dominic Davis on bass, and Bobby Emmet on keys—the blistering new jams both see the musician in an existential battle with time itself. “Welcome to the end of the word,” he half-sings on the rollicking “G.O.D. and the Broken Ribs,” a sentiment echoed on the bluesy “Derecho Demonico”: “Looks like you need to buy some more time, I think you need a couple more minutes.”

White kicks off a European tour at the Sigulda Castle Ruins in Latvia on May 30, with additional dates in Germany, France, Italy, and others through the end of the summer.
