House Playlist: Yuck, Earl Sweatshirt, Colette, Crystal Stilts, & Keep Shelly in Athens

Chris Coady

Yuck, “Rebirth”: Yuck has unveiled the lead single from the follow-up to their acclaimed self-titled debut. Due later this year on Fat Possum, the album will be their first since the departure of Daniel Blumberg, whose Hebronix debut, Unreal, is out now. Download “Rebirth” here.

Earl Sweatshirt featuring Vince Staples & Casey Veggies, “Hive”: “Hive,” featuring Odd Future cohorts Vince Staples and Casey Veggies, is the third single from rapper Earl Sweatshirt’s major label debut, Doris, which is named after his grandmother and hits stores on August 20th.

Colette, “When the Music’s Loud”: The ’80s-inspired “When the Music’s Loud,” a cool slice of Italo-disco tailor-made for humid summer nights, is the title track from Chicago DJ/singer Colette’s self-released third album, out August 27th.

Crystal Stilts, “Star Crawl”: “Star Crawl” is the latest from Brooklyn post-punksters Crystal Stilts. Their aptly titled third album, Nature Noir, drops in September on Sacred Bones.

Keep Shelly in Athens, “Recollection”: Dream-pop duo Keep Shelly in Athens’s official debut single is lush but rollicking, featuring sliced-up vocals and swirling synths. The nostalgic track will be included on the group’s first album, At Home, released on September 17th.
