Colette, “When the Music’s Loud”: The ’80s-inspired “When the Music’s Loud,” a cool slice of Italo-disco tailor-made for humid summer nights, is the title track from Chicago DJ/singer Colette’s self-released third album, out August 27th.
Crystal Stilts, “Star Crawl”: “Star Crawl” is the latest from Brooklyn post-punksters Crystal Stilts. Their aptly titled third album, Nature Noir, drops in September on Sacred Bones.
Keep Shelly in Athens, “Recollection”: Dream-pop duo Keep Shelly in Athens’s official debut single is lush but rollicking, featuring sliced-up vocals and swirling synths. The nostalgic track will be included on the group’s first album, At Home, released on September 17th.
