We weren’t exactly impressed with the open world charted by Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3, which was abundant in critical design flaws. From our own Matt de Azevedo’s review of the game:
The game features an abundance of gadgets and weaponry, but most are superfluous and only serve to create an overly complex and needlessly cluttered UI and menu system. Features like the truly uninspired and virtually useless skill tree could have been omitted entirely, which would have allowed more attention to be paid to the presently lackluster graphics, unresponsive controls, or the egregiously long load times and crashes that plague the experience.
Today, though, CI Games sets out to right the ship, accouncing that the complete sniper experience has gotten an update. Creators of the Lords of the Fallen and Sniper: Ghost Warrior series, the game publisher and developer has released a major update for Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3, now available on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 systems. According to the studio:
This latest update has focused improvements on game stability and bug fixing, and incorporates player feedback about certain issues and implemented changes in order to improve the user experience. CI Games are happy to report that it has made a number of significant improvements on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One that are included in the patch that is rolling out on all platforms now.
Some of the major updates include: reduced loading times, fixed game freezes, fixed discovering new Points of Interest, fixed saving issues of completed Points of Interest, fixed an issue that could cause the save files to become corrupted, fixed crash during Party Crasher mission along with numerous other improvements and changes to the game.
