I'm having a real John Waters on Mommie Dearest revelation with this whole Van Der Week thing. Though it's passed, Waters said of MD's midnite movie success which never was that "you can't manufacture a cult hit." So, here's JVDB trying to capitalize on his RickRoll moment. Does it prove he has a sense of humor? Yes. Will it make him as beloved in comedy circles as Neil Patrick Harris's 2nd career bid? No way. And how did I like his "O Face"? Man, I would bathe in that motherfucker's ballsweat if he could amass enough of it in a day. I loved it. I even loved his serial killer "Happy" face (did they even bother auditioning him for the male lead in Joe Dante's The Screwfly Solution? Would have made that snoozefest a lot more interesting). But, I'll take a pass on the "Lindsay Lohan Eye Roll." REALLY looks like he's on the toilet for that one. Actually, I think the same could be said for "Awkward," "Mild Sadness," "Nostalgia," "Baby Face," and potentially the "Eager Beaver." So, no I didn't Die laughing, but any excuse to see videos with almost a dozen closeups of Ver Der Beek's behind, I'll take with glee- tongue unfurled like the lost Warner brother and rolling down the aisle for miles. HELLOOOOOO, Doctor!

Juliette Binoche, Matthew Modine, Forrest Whittaker and Marion Cottillard are the stars, and the subject is the fact that Mary Magdalene was an actual disciple whose gospel was ruled out of the official New Testament because it's the only one where Jesus pointedly says he is not the Son of God but simply a rabbi teaching God's word.
