Slant Magazine is currently looking for talented, sexy, and charismatic music writers (specifically hip-hop, R&B, hard rock, country, and dance/electronic) for album and live reviews as well as features, and we're looking to expand our film section to include more interviews, retrospectives, and festival coverage. (Live in Cannes, Park City, or Toronto? We want you!) Also, if you're interested in writing reviews of television shows, please feel free to contact us with your background information and, if possible, samples of your writing. Please have some experience under your belt. Unfortunately, we cannot pay contributors at the moment, but the perks are scintillating. Besides the swag, Slant is a great launching pad for new and up and coming writers, some of whom have gone on to work for major publications across the country.
