Slant Magazine is currently looking for new TV writers. If you're a TV junkie with an impressive turn of phrase, we want you! We're also looking for bloggers who have a strong point of view and are politically in-the-know for election-season coverage: editorials on the presidential race, political ad commentary, responses to inane attacks on the candidates. And we're always on the lookout for DVD reviewers (step to the front of the line if you have a Blu-ray player) and new music critics (including but not limited to hip-hop, R&B, hard rock, country and dance/electronic) for album and live reviews as well as interviews, and we're also looking to expand our film section to include more interviews, retrospectives and festival coverage (live in Cannes, Park City or Toronto? Email us!). We don't pay contributors, but many of our writers have gone on to work for major publications across the country. Oh, and there's great swag involved too! If you have some experience under your belt and are commited, drop us a line!
